home stadium keeps switching teams by themself

I have an 80 team game with 80 stadiums I've imported and assigned to the respective teams.
In 78 cases this works perfectly.
With two teams the stadiums keep switching to the wrong team.
I assign stadium A to team A - it works fine using the usual procedure.
I then assign stadium B to team B - following normal procedure once again.

When I go to play a game, stadium for team A is stadium B - vice versa.

Any ideas?
Could it be something to do with the way the 2 teams were created, named, abbreviated, etc.?

Looking for any ideas.
Thx

That's incredibly bizarre. I assume not but do the teams have the same abbreviation? I highly doubt that would be the case though, as each stadium has its own individual ID so would just be appended to the team's ID.

Only other thing I can suggest is you make another two stadiums with exactly the same dimensions, factors etc., assign them to their respective teams, and see if that fixes the issue.

I double-checked. Teams do not have the same team ID.
The team is question is SF Giants.
I moved game from 20 to 21.
The teams (real) that came with the game all linked to the correct stadium in ootp21 - no problem there.
The rest of the teams I went through and made sure they were connected to the correct stadium. In most cases using "manually import data from this file into this park" - once again no problem....except this one team...it keeps using Apple Park which is assigned to another team.

So I went back and used "manually import data..." and the prk file for oracle to fix Giants issue. After doing so, daytime picture, nighttime picture, diagram picture and 3D model all showed that they had been imported correctly. Then when I leave the page and return later, it again shows Apple Park as the Giant's stadium. ???

So I downloaded Oracle 2020 from Silvam and repeated the whole import process...it showed successful but once again when I came back to the Giant's page Apple Park reappeared again.

I've closed ootp21 several times as well as rebooting but nothing seems to work.

In case someone else hits this ... I had what seems like the same thing happen and the only thing I could find was both teams had been created by editing an existing historical team. As such, they each still had a FranchiseID and HistoricalID that did not match the new team abbreviation.

Those IDs were those of the franchises the stadia "belonged to." That is, I was trying to assign Camden Yards to franchise XYZ. Franchise PDQ had historical IDs of BAL. Camden kept showing up under PDQ, not XYZ.

I don't *know* this is causal, but it was consistent.

I edited the league structure, deleted those teams, added new teams back and edited them, and the issue went away. YMMV.

Thanks for the tip. I'm actually enduring this exact situation now but am mid-season and unsure of how to proceed. Even placing fictional parks in their places won't fix it. I'm perplexed.
