Game ignoring max roster age

Seemed to notice after installing beta of latest patch. Game is signing players 1 year older than max age.

So now I have another problem - the forum is ignoring my post on the game ignoring max roster age.

Seriously though, this is the second season in a row I have wrestled with age limits. I have to go into FA and player lists and just hack through them. Is there something I'm doing to cause this? I thought the associations I set up might have been overriding the league settings (because that's what the game told me). These are independent leagues. TBh, I've run 5 seasons and I didn't have any issue with this until after I set up associations, coincidental or not.

Yep, game continuing to brush off age limits. Now this is starting to wreck my game. Managers are signing players that are beyond roster age limit.

Maybe the non-response means others aren't seeing this in their game?

Or maybe it's there and they haven't noticed?

Maybe you're right and it has something to do with associations but many of us don't use those?

In the last post you say they are all 1 yr over age limit? Could it be age is determined by player's age on opening day and these guys have added a year during the on-going season? I think some complained, at one time in previous versions, about players being cut mid-season because they started the season at max age but then their birthday fell in July (or whatever month) and they couldn't finish the season. Perhaps it was fixed and you are seeing the result? This is only a guess and something I have not experienced but may be worth a look?

In any case this would probably be seen quicker by the developers if you post it in the bug section..

@Sweed

Sweed, that is why you are a hall of famer.

I also wondered about the birthdate question, but now it is signing players 2 and 3 years over the limit. The thing is, it wasn't always this way with these leagues so something happened very recently to change performance and other than installing patches I used associations.

This is just murdering my set up. I have a supposedly jr league system with max 23 year olds now signing 25 yo beasts. Will have to write this into the league history somehow, about the chaos that ensued in the 1879 season when contracts went wild.
