Default Feeder League question(s)

Hello,

I am running a standard MLB league starting in the year 2020, ran through the 2020 draft and decided to add feeder leagues afterwards, so now I am at the 2021 draft.

The issue I am noticing, is this years draft features a LOT of players that my scout / OSA view as potential power rating of 70+.. granted, they are lacking in other areas, but it seemed like a high number of players when there are still multiple players several rounds out that are 65-70+ rated on power (80 grade scale.)

I do know there is some inaccuracy, looking at some of them, but I am curious if maybe I set the feeder leagues up wrong or if I am going to cause adverse effects on the league. Next years pool didn't look as bad, at least. I have it set to "feeder league only" for who is available to draft, I assumed that is the best way to go to avoid too many players being in the draft? I am just concerned about flooding the league with so much power potential that 70 grade becomes useless and more like 50-60 grade, if that makes sense. I didn't change any settings at all, I just used the feeder league wizard which created 2 college and 4 HS leagues. Should I have done anything differently?

Also, I know how to delete the feeder leagues, but I don't see a way to delete the leagues and players at the same time, so they do not flood into FA. Is there not a way to do that, if I wanted to disable the feeder leagues going forward?

EDIT: There is a relatively easy way to delete all players from the feeder leagues. I detailed in my post below, I may have done a poor job explaining, but if anyone else is trying to delete the players to remove feeder leagues, I at least tried to explain below.

Thank you

This is a tough one that I've begun to notice as well. I'm trying to simulate a small Canadian JuCo college league alongside the original draft classes and get about 20-30 draft picks per year out of pool of 80 being devoted specifically to the newly-generated fictional players.

Most draftees, as you note, have ridiculous raw power - think Blaze Jordan levels - almost immediately upon creation. Their BABIP and K rates are often the only thing holding them back from being immediate impact talents in the MiLB system.

I've tweaked the settings twice now and will report back at the end of next season as I inspect the newest crop of freshmen.

Just know you're not alone in noticing this. As for your dilemma, I'd start a new save and leave the feeders be for the time being if you're opposed to having hordes of steroid-like 17,18 year olds fill your draft boards.

How do you add Feeder Leagues after running a saved game for several years? I know you can do it easily enough when creating a new Save, but I can't find anything in my current Save that indicates creating new Feeder Leagues for my main, MLB world.

For me, this was available under:

Game Settings - > League Settings -> Functions -> League Actions (button on right side) -> Add Minor / Feeder league.

It allows me to do this at any point, should allow you, too.

I was able to safely remove the feeder league for now, as well. If you don't want to flood the FA with all of the feeder league players, first, go into 'player search', use filter-> by league, and then type in the feeder league name, you can add all of the feeder leagues all at once to one filter, or do each league one at a time either way. Then use the little button on the left side of the player names to select them all, right click one and "delete players". Do it for all the feeder leagues, then go into game settings and delete each feeder league. Itll automatically go back to the generated players for drafts.

Im still curious the best way to adjust this though. I prefer feeder leagues, so I personally want to get it working better... im not sure what settings to adjust, though.
