Strange Scheduling

The scheduling of my 2020 MLB league is strange to say the least. I just finished a mid-week six game series with doubleheaders three days in a row. Is anyone else getting these? I'm all for scheduled doubleheaders but my pitching staff will either die of exhaustion or mutiny.

Was it the result of rainout games being rescheduled?

My weird scheduling happened in 2032 after I elected expansion. It now no longer gives me interleague games - the season starts in mid March - and ends by 9/15. There are also days off most Sunday's. What in the actual hell?

Do you have league evolution on by chance? Has your league expanded and did you let the computer automatically create a schedule?

Yeah I let the computer create the schedule. Figured that would be the easiest way. I'm confused as to why adding two teams (but still playing 162) makes the league start and end sooner, and have no interleague play? How do I fix this?

I always disable rainouts. I hate the way double headers are scheduled in the game. Plus you don't get expanded double header roster like irl. So I see no need for them.

The computer is trying to find schedules that fit your new league structure and also tries to randomize so you don't have the same schedule each year. It probably selected one with different starts.

You can go into commissioner mode and set your start date if you want to but then you need to click the option to recreate a new schedule.

This is the first season of the sim, the 2020 schedule. I looked back and noticed that the season didn't start until mid-to-late April. There haven't been any rainouts yet.

It's not the end of the world, it's just a curiosity. Though my bullpen probably thinks it's the end of the world.

What schedule are you using? Is it the default MLB schedule for 2020? Have you made any changes to the game settings or the league format?
