when creating a custom game, how do you make it replay the same season?
When creating a custom game, how do you make it replay the same season? I trying to make a historical league with different teams from various years. I went to advance mode and I can't find replay the same season.

Choose Historical League from the OOTP start screen. The Wizard will guide you through the basic steps.

There is no option or box for that in the wizard and I could not find it the advanced options menu.

In the custom game and the Historical game setup I can't find the options I am looking for. The Historical game wizard does not allow you to change the teams of that year. For instance, If you picked 1979 you can't put a team from 1975. On the other hand in the custom game, you can't set the season to single season replay in the wizard.
Once again, I am looking to put various teams from different years into a single season replay. but I am unsure how to do it.

OK, now I understand. Once you've set up your fictional league structure, you switch to historical teams. See the bottom of this page: http://manuals.ootpdevelopments.com/...storical_teams

Tried that. There is no season to single season replay check box when you do that: Once you've set up your fictional league structure and than you switch to historical teams structure. The league appears to be set for career.

Single-season replay is different than what you're setting up using teams from different seasons. You can do one or the other but not both. Even so, you'll still have many if not most of the same options available to you.

I'm not sure what you mean by replay season. If you create a league with teams from different seasons, you can't "replay" a season because no such season with those particular teams ever existed.

In regular historical seasons, you can replay seasons such as 1975. No player development occurs and the game would reset at the end of the playoffs. You can replay the season if you wish. In the league I was discussing, I wanted to set-up Historical teams from different years, and be able to do the same process, replay the season over after completion of the season without moving to next season.

Once you create your league and you're ready to play, save the league as a Quickstart. I believe the option is in your Game menu. Then, when you finish playing your season, you can go to the start screen and choose New Quickstart Game. Choose your Quickstart game. You can repeat this as many times as you wish.

That is a good workaround. Thanks. Once more, I appreciate your time and effort to assist me.
