Custom storylines

I've scoured the board and found some resources on this... this post has links to all relevant info. But is there any chance the devs could make it easier and/or more accessible for us to add custom storylines to our own world?

Editing team logos is a snap... editing league structures is easy... all of this stuff to increase the immersion is so easily done but the storylines, which IMO are one of the best ways to increase immersion, are just kind of out there, completely inaccessible unless you spend a bunch of time with the raw XML.

Storylines don't even necessarily need to have any impact on ratings or attitude or chemistry to help out. Something popping up about my #3 starting pitcher being really into gardening and growing a prize pumpkin, for example. That would be delightful to see in my inbox and just deepen my connection to that player. Or maybe my center fielder's son was just named the top high school lacrosse prospect. Doesn't affect the on-field action at all but makes the world more in-depth.
