Downloading Team Graphics - What's going on here? (Support needed)
Since yesterday morning both OOTP20 and 21 are having issues downloading the files, mainly team graphics, often going into a "Not Responding" state.... nothing has change in my network, I'm running wireless on both my laptop and my main PC (can't hardwired for another couple of weeks) and for the past two months it's been a non issue.... all of the sudden both systems have the same issue....
Tried reinstalling the games, and tweaking background tasks... it's not a network issue because I can download 1GB in under 90 seconds and speedtest shows no issues with my Gigabit connection... I am running a mesh network (Eero) Is this a known issue? is there something I can try (aside from hard wiring it)?

Was there a firmware update for your router ? It's possible your router/ISP made a change that blocks the type of file the games are trying to download. The best way to isolate if it's coming from your network or not would be to take your laptop to a completely different network and see if it gets through. The fact it's affecting both machines and that it happened at the same time (and that nobody else that I can see reported the same issue) kind of indicates it is, in fact, probably related to your network in some way. I'd start by rebooting the network completely. If that still doesn't work, you might want to also try a pinhole reset on your router. |

Nope nothing changed in my network...
I have an eero system with 6 stations and they are all connected to a Netgear Nighthawk which does all the wired devices. This issue is happening with both access points, the eero and the Netgear and while I'm inclined to agree this looks like a network issue, it's intermittent and random... the "not responding" indicates there's some issue with grabbing the file. It's only really happening when downloading Team Graphics and downloading files, even when I want to check on a score from a game i played, that file takes 20-30 seconds. Edit: yes of course I tried rebooting and resetting settings on the router, but I also ran a full diagnostic on my network and there's nothing wrong with it, not blocking any files from a firewall....

Well looks like this was a known issue, maybe affecting a small % of users, but the problem was resolved with the new patch.
