OOTP 20 for beginners
Hey guys, I previously owned OOTP 17 from a humble bundle, but didn't play it too much except to dick around and I never really grasped how to actually do anything, and most of my excursions into the game were rather short lived. As I've become more into baseball in the past year or so though I've come to realize the power of the game, the respect it has among baseball fans, and the depth that it offers to me as a fan of grand strategy games. So I have decided to seriously start my oddyssey into OOTP with the release of OOTP 20 this friday. I was wondering though if anybody had any advice on the best way to learn the game? Specifically, will the mechanics be similar enough to OOTP 19 that I can follow the many tutorials for that game that have been made, or do I have to read through the new manual? Additionally I would appreciate any tips or advice that you might have for a player new to the series. Thanksusps tracking showbox speed test

The game is basically the same
Those tutorials are pretty good I'd watch them, and read what was updated in the newer versions and read about those things in the manual. Openers and followers is one example. Even if you understand them in theory, the manual will explain how to set them up in OOTP Also, OOTP 21 was released a while ago, and 20 has been out for a year. Maybe there's a sale, that's what you're referring to Last edited by CBeisbol; 05-01-2020 at 03:06 PM. |
