2076 General Discussion

I'll start with the batting averages of all my position players:

(Through 82 games)

Pee Wee Reese .419 (31 AB)
Willie Keeler .415
David Wright .333 (15 AB)
John Olerud .301
Roy Campanella .299
Cal Ripken Jr. .284
Tris Speaker .280
Christian Yelich .269
Jackie Robinson .269
Edgardo Alfonzo .261
Al Kaline .250
Gary Carter .247 (PT)
Willie Mays .246
Al Rosen .244
Ty Cobb .219
Keith Hernandez .215
Carlton Fisk .164 (PT)
Willie McCovey .148 (27 AB)
Yogi Berra (1/7)

8th in the league in BA as a team (.271)

I have to go address Cobb's issues.

& I'll go 2nd as well. Flyers won a franchise high 118 games this week. The spotlight playoff challenge is RealMadrid. We played them decent in another series, I think, a while back, way while.

They won about 12-16 more games than us but rumors coming out of Long Island say the Flyers will be ready to go for all postseason series.

P463: What Are the Odds?

In P463, the final 4 teams are the Yeehaw KKonas (114-48) and Washington Dodgers (83-79) in the AC and the Huntley Red Raiders (125-37) and Seattle Earthquakes (100-62) in the NC.

Their head-to-head records during the season:

Yeehaw 6, Washington 0
Huntley 7, Seattle 0

How much do you wanna bet we're destined for a Washington-Seattle Perfect Series?

Lost my 3rd, 4th...maybe even 5th? PL Series or so...

Something like Loss 6-2 to RealMadrid, Win 6-0, Loss 3-0, Win 3-2, Loss 3-0, Loss 5-2.

They grew slow looking at their history, & have been very good after that period of mediocrity when 2.0 was released.

And oh yeah, we swept our way TO that series.

'Gratz Jason!

The 'Glou will be moving back up to Perfect after losing the Diamond Level Series 4-2. Peak Pedro took home Cy Young and MVP again but didn't net me another triple crown, falling short in the wins department by 2 with only 19.

We were the best offensive and defensive team in the conference this season, finishing with a run differential of +212. We needed until the final day of the regular season to win our division title however. Our record of 96-66 was 7 games below pythag, while division rival Twin Fall Timber Rattlers finished 95-67, 6 games above their pythag. A 4-7 final week and a half of the season allowed us to run them down. Harry Heilman had a season and a half, scoring 132 runs (a league-best) off 207 hits (also a league-best) and 84 walks. He also led the league in doubles, with 57.
