Bitter Sweet ending to my game
Hi,
I was just about to embark on my 10th season with the Mets; after gaining a renewed sense to come back to this save and once and for all get this squad of post season underachievers to a World Series my game crashed while saving on opening day. As I restarted ootp21 my game file was missing, and after following instructions on the bug forum to no luck it seems like this Mets play through was never destined to have success. With no response on the bug fourm to my questions, I’ve decided to cut my losses and start a new game. At the moment I do not know which team I will be playing as, and would like some suggestions. I don’t really have an interest to do a full rebuild or play as a super powerful team at the moment or take over a squad with limited payroll with a penny pincher as the owner. I do however would like to play as a team that is a few pieces away from making the postseason or could possibly make a surprise playoff birth off the start. I am also open to different play throughs if you can explain why. Thank you, |

Sad to hear. I am 40 games in my season as the Mets GM and manager. I have a 17-13 record.
It seems like 85% of my players have contracts expiring after this season. Did you have the same issue ? BTW....I'm an Oriole fan but wouldn't take them because of how bad they've been for so long. In my league they are in 2nd. place. Keep me posted if you that the O's. |

I'm leaning towards either the cardinals or bluejays; most likely will be the cards and for some reason I just like playing in the national league more. Ive seen your O's do well some years and be mediocre in others during my mets save, your catching prospect is always good. |

The Cards start with crazy money available to spend on Free Agents and Extensions.
If you want a NL challenge do the Diamondbacks or Padres. Both are on the cusp of playoff baseball as a Wildcard and the Dodgers can't win forever. I love the Cards btw, but trying to win as the Reds is interesting as well. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
