Help with fixing a corrupt file?

I have been playing with the same team since OOTP 17 and I'm now in the 2031 season. I've played every single game since the 2016 season and, naturally, have become attached to this team

In July of last year (real life) I ran out of space on my PC before realizing. Given how long I've played this one save game, the file size is quite large (I have all the international leagues too). Now when I try to play, it is apparent the file has become corrupt.

Usually when I try to play, I am able to get two weeks of in-game time in before I start getting error messages saying "Failed to open the sqlite database". I usually stop playing when I see that and then return in a month or so (real life). If I try to play past the sqlite error, the game eventually crashes and I have to revert to an autosave.

Unfortunately I do not have any backups of this save game. I would really love to play it once again without fearing it crashing at any second. Please, if anyone could help with this that would be much appreciated. Maybe there is a way to go into the files and somehow fix them so the crashing won't happen? I'm not a techy guy, so maybe someone with more knowledge than me can help with the issue.
