Fictional League with real players

Is it possible to create a custom fictional league but use real players? I cannot seem to find a way to do this, if it is possible.

If anyone can fill me in, I'd be very appreciative.

Start up normal mlb universe. Add a fictional universe. Release all fictional players and delete them. Release all mlb players. Delete mlb league. Hold fantasy draft.

I appreciate the reply, but I'm still stuck. I have no idea how to add a fictional universe to the existing MLB universe. I see the options to add a feeder league, but I see no other way of adding an entirely new league in the way mentioned. Help?

You have to do it in the off season. Also can't do it in challenge mode. If you doing a mlb 2020 start it starts opening day.

But you could create a custom game and add real mlb and fictional league.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I wasn't on opening day in a 2020 season, so that might have been the problem.

To be clear to add leagues in game had to be off season.

But you can do it from main splash screen under custom game.

The way I did it was as follows:

1. start up the historical league for the year you want to start in
   Delete the players' history.
   Release all the players in that league as though you're going to run a fantasy draft.
   EXPORT that league's rosters.
   Set up your league you want to run with teams, stadiums, logos, etc., etc., etc
   IMPORT that roster file into your league.

You should be good to go. Continue to set up your league how you want it to play, have your fantasy draft to assign your players to teams and go!
