What are you using for weaken/adjust for pitchers/batters?
Are you using 5 year recalc double weight current season?
Also, in my historical leagues my simulation stats are very close to deal life stats but my runs per game is almost always -2% to -6%. Do you find runs per game consistently low? I chalk it up to questionable base running.

Try using 5yr with 154/70 for batters and 17/14 for pitchers. Try setting H&R to Very Often for every season. I saw the same issue with R/G but with Very Often and the new modifier for extra bases taken that I convinced Markus to include last year things got closer to being on target.

Are the weaken/adjust batting settings supposed to apply to pitchers (as batters)? I had thought that they didn't but these recent results suggest otherwise:

Player, Real Life Batting, OOTP Batting
Drysdale, .186 w 29 HR's, .133 w 12 HR's
K Brett, .262 w 10 HR's, .148 w 3 HR's
Don Larson, .242 w 14 HR's, .134 w 5 HR's
Hershiser, .201, .123
Fernando, .200 w 10 HR's, .114 w 4 HR's
Mike Hampton, .246 w 16 HR's, .114 w 2 HR's
