Request: Since animations are going to be looked at soon...
Others have mentioned this too but a delay from pitch to action view would be great. Right now the camera switches immediately on ball contact. If we could have an option to extend that we could have it set where yout can see the ball take off for a bit before switching which is actually much more tv realistic if you think about it.

Was this ever added to the game? The camera transition feature seems to not do anything when changing the values.

These settings in the pregame screen are what you want to adjust.

That seems to make no difference. Is there a way to see the ball off the bat for a second if you are using batter box view before the camera switches to the action view?

Not sure what's happening on your end, they work for me.

Have you tried adjusting the Camera Transition time?

I tried changing the camera transition time. No matter what I set it to there is no difference in the game.

I tried changing the camera transition time on two different computers but it makes no difference if you set this to 1 second or even 9 seconds. Does this feature work for anyone? Is it supposed to change the amount of time that the game waits before going from pitch view to action view?

The transition time is more related to how the camera moves between action segments (ie. how fast the camera will move to catch up to a throw).
Those delay settings highlighted above are for autoplay (ie. if you're just watching the game), so not related to the 3d delays. If you play with the Camera Movement Delay, I think that should impact how long it takes to change cameras. If that doesn't work, then definitely something we can look into for next year. |

These settings seem to have no affect on the time it takes to switch from the pitch camera to the action camera. The camera switches immediately upon contact. You do not even see the ball off the bat. I just want to see which way the ball is heading before the camera switches to the action view, but none of these settings seem to do that.
