Emerson Hancock

Wondering for those who are 5+ years into the game using current day rosters and teams.

I chose Emerson Hancock at #4 with the Royals in 2020 (it was between him and Torkleson who - interesting enough - I traded for and now have on my team, too).

Hancock has won two Cy Young's in a row and is INCREDIBLE for my 2028 Royals.

How is he in other sims? Just as good? A bust? Average?

BTW, Torkleson is also a stud. 4.5 star player.

He's in A ball in 2023 for me. Closer, stamina of 6 (of 20). So I don't expect much of him as a starter. 2.5/4.0 stars.

He could be an excellent closer, but not any time soon.

Torkelson is nothing special 2.5/3 stars just made the Royals (.250) and is injured. He won't be anything special.

So interesting how every sim is different.

My Royals 2020 sim (I'm in 2028 now) included Jackson Kowar and Brady Singer fizzling out as 2.5 star pitchers after surgeries. Mondesi never got above 2.5. Brad Keller/Jake Junis duds after 2020. Funny thing is Erick Pena is now a 4 star stud CF for me in 2028 but just added the dreaded "fragile" tag

I keep waiting for some of the fragile guys to have that tag go away since I have 4 under 30 - but it seems to never go away once it arrives.
