Here is a file that contains all of the above, simply put it in your sound folder. Enjoy!!

Considering the original files are .ogg and these are .wav should we make any modifications to your files in order for them to function as intended?

Many thanks, by the way!

.wav works perfectly in OOTP, the only modification you may need to do is to make sure that the files are named & numbered accordingly, i.e. if you last intro file in your OOTP folder is "Intro4", you will need to make sure that the next intro file is named "Intro5". Just keep the numerical order and everything should work just fine. Thank you BTW.

Any idea how you do individual player intro? I know its something with their full name but couldn't get it to work.

jimmysthebestcop, make the file name the same as the player name.
ex. bart simpson.ogg
Bobble made a post about player introductions. I added some more info.

When we patch does this get overwritten? I'm guessing it does and, like the ballpark folder, we have to backup our sound folder before patching and put it back in the game?

thanks.

NM found the answer.

OOTPs patches will overwrite all files that you have modified. This includes all files installed in a default installation. So any sounds or stadiums or logos will be overwritten. Make a folder with these files and copy them back after an update. New or additional (or your saved league) files will not be overwritten or deleted.

It doesn't overwrite the sounds folder at least not on the Steam version.

It's a great idea to share the conclusions that each of us has, thank you. I have been collecting similar sound libraries for a long time, as I am fond of creating songs in my free time. My last find was the royalty free sound effect download service; there are many sounds on different topics. I was just happy when I found this database with melodies, as it is scarce that you can find something like this for free on the Internet. For some reason, I am sure that this service will also be paid soon, so I will use it while I have the opportunity and enjoy it. It will be interesting to read your findings and life hacks, good luck to everyone
