incorrect historical team linking

im not sure if i should send this to the bugs forum but i just noticed an odd occurence in my 1986 historical league. a few teams on their home screens are for some reason associated with another MLB team. For example this one is the Cubs but they have (MLB, TOR) listed next to their name and if you click on the drop down, the entire Toronto farm system is listed.

In the Rosters & Transactions page you can see the Cubs minor league players but the drop down for each level is blank. So if you click any drop down the only options you get are the Chicago Active Roster and the Injured List.

I did notice that in the Team Settings screen, the teams with this problem have a parent team ID listed under the internal team ID. In the Cubs case, the parent team ID is 8 (which is the Toronto team ID in this game). It seems like the game is treating the Cubs as the Toronto farm affiliates because the staff the Cubs MLB is limited to manager, pitching coach, hitting coach. Also the owner profile is completely missing for these teams.

Is there a way to unassociate a team from another? or am i stuck with this setup?
