Why are there pitching changes?

So I've been playing OOTP17 for a long long time. I've fired up 20 and I keep having this issue: While managing a game the computer decides to lift my pitcher and put in a reliever. All setting are set for me to make all decisions, yet here is a reliever I don't want on the mound. I've never had this issue before. Is there something I'm missing?

I have never seen this happen, what are your game options set for substitutions?

All 5 controls are set on "Human Control". I've been playing OOTP for a long time and never have seen anything like this either, that's what is bugging me. It's happened in early and late 20th century games and even a few 19th century games.
