Random Debut age question

I probably should have asked this a long time ago as like so many here I mainly play random debut.

You have a player that is age let's say 26, and that corresponds on their Real Life Stats to a particular season, let's say 1984. But their birthday is March 23, which is before opening day. Will their age then be 27 for your league's current season?

Okay, so maybe that one is too easy. What about a player who has a May 19 birthday? If when you draft them they are 26 but will age a year in the fiirst half of the season, should you expect their performance to then be their age 27 season?

What about June 15? In other words, my real question is: what is the cut-off date at which point that player's age is determined for the season you are playing? Is it opening day of your league season? Or do they change Real Life Stat season performances even in mid-season in your league because their age changes, and the ages, as we see on the Real Life Stats chart, corresponds to a particular year?
