Saved Game Dissappeared

Afternoon, installed a patch and my first saved game was gone--and thought I did something wrong. I started a new game and saved the game as I went, but glitched in amateur draft and had to restart game. When I did, it no longer shows as CONTINUE game and it doesn't show in load games area either. How do I get it back?

I tried getting creative and did the expert piece and screwed it up even more. Now none of my saved games show at all.

Go to 'settings' > 'troubleshooting' > 'open folder containing saved games'.

Then copy/paste the full path of the folder that opens here, so I can see what it is.

This is the path that shows when you click that

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Out of the Park Baseball 21\data\saved_games\saved_games

But it does not show all of the games I saved.....there should be these

C:\Users\Lance\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 21

This has all of the games I saved listed

Ok, so just open the game and go to 'settings' and to 'expert' and set the custom directory to point back to where your saved game folder is.

In this case, C:\Users\Lance\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 21

then restart and you should be good.

Unfortunately it is not finding the games at all. It says nothing is there

Can I see a screenshot of both ''settings' and to 'expert' custom directory in your OOTP and the C:\Users\Lance\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 21\saved_games folder in your Windows explorer?

I am not sure how to send that to you----I know you asked me to send it but I am not sure when you mean windows explorer

I think the issue it appears to me is that when I hit the save button it was not saving the game to the proper folder......

I was lucky and I was able to hit CONTINUE game all the time and it never failed. Once I had the 2 glitches though, CONTINUE was no longer an option and it does not appear in the Load game area.

Is there a way to re-install the game if I bought it through steam and then find a way for you to walk me through how to trace it to the saved games I had in folders other wise?

I am getting error messages from after doing the patch and now using that expert function. It is saying cannot find nextgen, etc.....
