Issue with amateur draft disabled in historical league

For the first time I tried doing a historical league with the amateur draft disabled. The players are going to the correct teams, but their ages are off. I checked Steve Avery, Mike Piazza, and Jeff Bagwell and they all have the same issue. Is there some option that can correct this?

I think this is an issue with the real life stats, not the age.

His DOB is correct.
