I downloaded the OOTP5 manual and just finished reading it last night. It was 72 pages long and it seems as if pages are missing. Page 72 just seems to end...it appears as if there should be more but there isn't.
Another thing that makes me strongly believe there should be more is that on page 70 it states that you can find more info regarding something (sorry..don't remember and I am at work now) in the appendix (or something like that) at the end of the manual....but there are no appendices at the end of the manual. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance! BRAVO 1/5

Hey, try re-downloading just the manual:
http://400studios1.inetu.net/files/ootp/ootp5manual.zip See if this helps. |

Just tried it and got the same result...
and btw...it says "reference section" not appendix....but still...there is no reference section. Is this forum only for fellow players to offer their help or does .400 studios do their support thru here as well? If no one knows the answer...is their some way to get in contact with .400 and find out? Thanks again for tyring to help dbacks!! Much appreciated! BRAVO 1/5

Mine has 72 pages as well. Just saw the remark in page 70th but don't have a clue about that section.

Well...at least I don't feel alone now. DO you get the same impression though? That there are pages missing? Seems that way to me...

Ya, seems like it was supposed to be more pages explaining some of the stats. Beats me, pal.

Here is the official response from Steve Kuffrey and .400 Studios:
"Part of the manual was taken from a previous version and that was just probably left by accident." So there ya have it and there it is (as one of my friends from alabama would say). Personally, I would likely a referece section on some of the stats.

That website should do it for you, but if there's still something I can help you with, or anyone else for that matter, just holler.

I also replied back to them asking if there was any intention on fixing it...or adding a reference or anything like that, the official response:
"I really don't know." end quote. So it looks like this post shall be the end of it. I'll tell ya though....400 studios (not that I am taking away from them) are damn lucky to have a customer base like you guys!!! It's like having 300 customer technical support reps FOR FREE!!
