Kaline was a class act from start to finish, and all of us who were fortunate enough to watch him patrol right field at The Corner, and later listen, are poorer. He was one of my favorites growing up.

Moved to Detroit in the spring of 1984 as a high school student and became a huge Tiger fan. Remember listening to Kell/Kaline do the games for years. Awesome player, maybe a better person.
