Fantasy Draft

Howdy folks!

This game is amazing - I have one question that someone may be able to answer easily for me...

I am trying to start a new league with my son in which we have the same CONSTRUCT as Major League baseball, but make random new team names and then do a full draft of the ACTUAL players (Stanton, Judge, etc) for the 2020 season.

But every time I get to the stage where the league is going to start it's using entirely FICTIONAL players..

any ideas how I fix that? Thanks!!

Sounds like you're starting by creating a fictional league.

What you can do is, create a real MLB world, then go to League Setup, League & Teams Tab. There you will see all the teams listed, simply type new names in the appropriate boxes.

Once completed, League Setup again, League Settings, schedule Fantasy Draft.

You should be good to go then.

Looking for a refinement clue here: I have an established Fantasy Dynasty league that I'd like to plug in here. Is there a way to bypass the draft and add players to teams manually?? Or at least, if as commissioner I'm running the draft, to add all the players to each team at once instead of jumping between teams every round?

I have the exact same question, but given no responses to yours it seems as though you just need to go through the round-by-round draft picking players one at a time. Kind of tedious but better than nothing! I wish there was a way to just assign players to teams quickly after releasing all players to the pool and customizing the league size/organization.

You can draft for every team as Commish if you like, or you can edit each player individually (must be in Commish Mode) and assign them to a team. You can edit contracts also if you wish. Just click on a player and then the edit tab. Left side (see image, red circle) is where you assign them to a team.
