Would love 3rd base coach recommendations

I like the fact that the game gives me a choice to send a runner to the next bag or not, but the data given (how deep the ball is, the runner speed and the outfielder arm) just isn't quite enough. And the graphics aren't even close to representing if the runner would be safe or not. I would love if there was a recommendation from a base coach. Maybe the skill of the base coach would influence how accurate their assessment was.

Anyone else think this is a good idea, or just me?

I've said this for years. We should be able to hire first and third base coaches with varying degrees of aggressiveness with respect to base running

I'm not against the idea of base coaches, I'd even welcome them. Having said that I play the game as the manager and I am in the dugout not on the field so I do not have the ability to send or stop a runner.

So with sending runner option turned off the AI is determining all of this for me now as if I had an AI base coach. Yes, you can say there is no difference in aggressiveness but it still works better than the pick and choose system, IMHO. Not to mention more realilstic, again IMHO, since I'm in the dugout and not on the field.

Again, totally support those that want base coaches and hope for v22 it gets added. Until then I'll rely on the AI same as if the game added coaches.

YMMV

How hard can it be to have the graphics accurately represent the depth of the ball? That is a critical factor that any base coach would rely on. Yet sometimes, the option window pops up when the graphic representation suggests the runner would have zero chance at scoring. While at others, it looks like he would stand a decent chance at scoring, but there is no option to try.

Really like that idea. Way too much of a toss up right now.
