Arrow Two Way Player Question

If you happen to have a PT player who is rated at playing more than one position, will the AI automatically move that player around as it see's fit?

For example, say you have a Starting Pitcher who also has a good rating for LF, will the AI ever put that pitcher in LF to keep him in the game, and bring in a different pitcher to pitch and then later on put the original pitcher, who is in LF, back on the mound and then bring in a new LF?

Or for example a player is rated at 1B and 3B, will the AI move him around in the same game to different positions, or is he pretty much stuck at the position where he started the game?

The AI can shift players around the diamond. So if your 1B/3B starts at 1B, but then your 3b gets pinch hit for, they may swap them around if that gives a better defensive alignment, and them possible switch again later.

However, the example of a P/LF, we do not generally speaking shift them around. So they will either pitch in the game, or they will play the field in the game, but will almost never do both in the same game.

I've seen Joe Maddon do it several times with the Cubs, over the past few years and was wondering if the AI would do it, too.

Thanks

I've never seen this happen before.
