Lineup changes when game starts

Hi, I selected right handed pitcher lineup. I make changes to that lineup.
Start the game and I lose the game because the AI or something, switched the lineup. Manager settings-set to manager(me) control lineups. What am I doing wrong. Thanks for listening.

Check your depth charts: sometimes backups are listed to play once every certain amount of days. Changing that to either "if tired" or "never" should eliminate this issue.
