Help! Could not open FTP export directory

Hello! This is not really a bug report as I am fairly confident the error is human! I have the game installed on two computers (at home and at work) and typically export at one place, then if I want to get back in at the other, before the next sim, I import. I play in three online leagues, and two are functioning normally. However, in one league, I can no longer download or import at home. I can still login, download, export, and import at work, so I assume I have some local issue. When I tried to import my file I get: Could not import team file from FTP server. Error-103: Wrong path When I tried to download the new file after a sim, I get: Error: Could not open FTP export directory I deleted the file and all of the folders related to this league, downloaded the starter pack and started with that file- but it brought me to the same "Error: Could not open FTP export directory" screen. Could anyone help me troubleshoot this issue and get back in the game?

Any luck solving your problem? I have been using OOTP20 for several months without a problem and all of a sudden I cannot update.

I am seeing the same issue and it is impacting both my home and work machines. As of yesterday I can no longer download our league file in game or export my file via FTP. I am guessing there may have been a security update that is causing this error but I can't pinpoint the reason either. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Did you get a solution to this? I just installed some security updates on my Mac and now I am running into the exact same error. Even if I re-download OOTP and re-download my online leagues I still get the message. Any help would be great. If it helps I'm on macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6. // This is for OOTP 21, so I'll post there. But it seems like the same issue. Last edited by jmantemp; 06-14-2020 at 11:58 AM. |
