Fictional League Transfer OTP 20 to OTP 21 Questions

I have created a general layout of a league I want to create. I have basically just made the divisions, cities, team names, ballpark names jersey colours in an excel spreadsheet.

I was going to wait until OTP 21 came out to start this game but would there be any disadvantage to creating the League in OTP 20 and just not simming ahead at all? Im worried that if I start by creating the league in OTP 20, I might lose the ability to do something in OTP 21 with said league.

I would love to be able to lay the foundation for my league before OTP 21 comes out and then I can jump into editing the ballparks with ballpark editor and finish up. So should I wait for OTP 21 to come out, or can I start the league now?

Thanks!

My Impression starting league in OTP 20 would be fine and I wouldn't be missing out on anything in OTP 21 once released.

I would just wait 14 more days if you got the beta. Maybe run some test scenarios or what you have to do first in 20.

Damn, I already started league! But that is okay, like you said, maybe if I something is off or left out, I can always restart, I am playing around right now.

Generally speaking, it's not a big problem to update to the new version.

This year does add a couple wrinkles with the scouting and drafting updates, you probably would see a "better" mix of players post-release than you will pre-release, but the game will still catch up over time (ie. you won't see very many players in future draft pools initially when you update, but most will get created around the time of the next draft).
