Salary Cap Calculation

In my solo league I have a 80M salary cap. Currently my salaries are around 75M. My ace makes 9M per season and he agreed to a 9.2M contract extension, but I'm getting a message back saying that the contract would put me above the salary cap??

Known issue, I have logged this into our bug database, at this time I do not have a timeframe when this will be resolved. Sorry

No problem. I just disabled the cap, signed him to the extension and then enabled the cap.

Now that online leagues have converted to OOTP5, I imagine this issue will become even larger. We just ran into it in the MBBA last night when I was trying to extend some players.

Is the workaround to disable the cap when doing extensions? Other than possibly having a team start the next season over the cap, is there any other issues with doing it this way?

Any idea if this fix makes it into the upcoming patch?

I also had this problem in the NML! PLease fix this in the nex patch if possible. PERHAPS this is caused by the arbiration option which the game views as salary for next season....sooo example:
CAP 20mill
Bill Smith resigns at 18mil
John Jackson expected to arbitrate to 6mill

*this team would be over cap.

Just a thought.
If possible plese fix this bug.

It should be fixed in the patch.
