Withdraw offer then make a better one

Conditions: online league, no morale/no personality

If I withdraw an offer to a free agent I know I will be warned that he will be upset. But will he remain upset if i offer him something better?

I do not want to game the online export system nor do I want to redo everything else I did this session.

I've wondered this, too. It should be easy enough to experiment in a solitaire game with with players whom you wouldn't regret not being able to sign.

I tried this once and the player refused to negotiate further. I lost him. Better to wait for the player to advise you of an offer he has received and he'll ask if you can do better. Patience grasshopper.
