Thumbs down Crashes like others...

My game is giving me the exact same error that Splitter24 is getting. It will randomly crash while I am playing. The longest I have got it to run is 10 minutes. it says "Program has generated errors and will be closed by windows."

My system is like this:

AMD Athlon 1800 XP
256 MB RAM
Windows 2000 Professional
Geforce 4 Ti4200 graphics
Sound Blaster Live 5.0

Buzwa, I've got exctely the same problem that you are suffreing with, I've tried everything I can think of, video drivers, sound drivers, Windows update, I even reformatted my hard drive but the game still crashes with a generated errors message. Hopefully the 5.2 patch will solve it.

Angry Sound Issue

I have a similar issue with the sound, except that I don't crash. I can use OOTP5 without a problem - until I try to manually play a game. When I enter a game with Sound enabled, the game runs, but extremely slow, even on very fast PbP mode. I checked my drivers and my sound card is up to date.

Gateway P4 1.4Ghz
WinMe 4.90.3000
128M Ram
5/37G free on hd
I am running 5.1.

Turning off the sound in the game configuration application cures this problem. But I want to have sound!!! Any ideas?
