Any chance we will be able to upload our fhm5 save files?

This is the only thing stopping me from purchasing the game.

Convert them to FHM6 you mean? Yeah, you can do that now, there's a converter that'll upgrade old FHM5 saves to this version's format.

You have to be on July 1st though.

Just make sure your FHM 5 save is on July 1st, then copy the entire folder for that save (savename.lg folder in particular) into the FHM 6 saved games folder. Once you open the game, you can then use the import save option and it'll work just like normal. It's a feature I was also excited for, so I'm glad it works effectively

Haven't encountered any. I am running a 2021 save from FHM5 that was transitioned to FHM6 and that save is currently in 2031.

Will this work if the FHM5 files are saved on a Mac and then imported into FHM6 in Windows?

Yes, the files are the same in either version.
