This there a playoff setting for this

I am doing an altered NHL History which during WW 2 will go to a two division set-up with four teams in each division.

Is there a playoff setting that allows me to have the top 2 teams play for the divisional championship and then the division champions play for the Stanley cup?

It would be easy to do this in OOTP but with the pre-coded settings I'm not sure which to select that would come closest to what I want to do.

I'll just use this thread for my own predicament: In Playoff Structure i see an option called '8 teams, 4 per Conference'. Will this create two separate playoff trees for the two conferences before their winners match up in the final, or just one where teams can meet intra-conferencial in all rounds?

It'll keep the conferences separate until the final.
