Had an encounter with someone else's tech support today.
All I can say is that the gang here are so freaking far above (not glu, it couldn't be glu mobile, I won't admit that it was) this other company's support team it's hard to believe.
They talked down to me so badly and offered up such a hollow explanation that I made an unfortunate reference to eating a bag of Scrabble tiles as a means of producing a higher quality answer. I'm sure they weren't amused—and I know Mrs. Cobb wasn't. Anyway, point is: we have the absolute best support team here. We get taken seriously, treated with respect, and listened to. These are gifts you should not take for granted or lightly. They're rare beasts...treasure them. I do, and I do a lot more after today.

Finding a PC game that is 1) as good as OOTP 2) as accessible as OOTP and 3) doesn't require a third party app, is extremely rare this day and age. In fact, I know of no other game. It's why I've paid for a copy every year since version 4 (even though there have been years I barely played the game). It's almost a given, that every year I'll purchase my copy of OOTP. The second I believe they've crossed 'that line' (make Steam a requirement for instance), I'll be done.
As it stands, OOTP is the last of a dying breed. Last edited by NotMuchTime; 08-09-2019 at 01:53 PM. |
