Weird Flex - Chasing Odd Stats for Leaderboards
Anyone chase after odd leaderboard stats? On my FTP team, been focusing on hitting the leaderboards for complete games by building a very specific team. Glad to say I'm pretty much dominating the global leaderboards and have the record in Silver/Gold/Diamond and probably perfect leagues after this season.
Silver ![]() Gold ![]() Diamond ![]() Currently on pace for Don Drysdale to get 16 in perfect which would be the record. Records for all leagues won't load due to server issues, but since nobody has more than 15 in perfect or bronze, and there's only 2 17s in Iron, I can safely say the top 10 for global currently looks like this... 20 - Tiny Bonham - Silver - 2030 - Pointer1VB 19 - Tiny Bonham - Gold - 2031 - Pointer1VB 18 - Larry Dierker - Gold - 2031 - Pointer1VB 17 - Wilbur Wood - Iron - 2025 - SpikeH 17 - Wilbur Wood - Iron - 2033 - HendUstyle 17 - Pedro Astacio - Gold - 2020 - Bibu 16 - Robin Roberts - Diamond - 2025 - Pointer1VB 16 - Robin Roberts - Silver - 2030 - Pointer1VB 16 - Phil Niekro - SIlver - 2020 - Lorgeous 16 - Wilbur Wood - Diamond - 2020 - bkingman48 Also to note, 68 complete games by my team was my record in 2031... I wish they had that team stat in the records list. Last edited by Pointer1VB; 07-11-2019 at 01:44 AM. |

Nice work creating your own end game!
I'm looking at these pitchers and, first, how did Wilbur Wood get 16 CGs in Diamond!? Second, other than high Stamina the commonality seems to be relatively high CTRL and low STF. I've been wondering about the interaction between CTRL and STF. Like if it's just the likelihood of walking vs. striking out or if it says more about how a pitcher works the counts. Like, is a high CTRL pitcher more likely to get in deeper counts than a low CTRL pitcher - because they'll be more comfortable using all three balls. This leaderboard makes me think not. If anyone knows more about this though, I'd love to hear it. Third, where are the Maddux? |

Thanks for this. I'm definitely going to go after some interesting stats now. I wonder if I'm on the leaderboard for anything already? I do some weird stuff sometimes. If there's a "most bunts-for-hit in a season" list I definitely won that.

Was able to get some stats loaded now. Garry Maddox from the Cowboys on the leaderboard for triples in Diamond. The Little Rock Crayons on the leaderboard twice for team stolen bases. Cool!
