Mystery Game Added to Playoffs

So in a series the Cubs went up 3-0. The game however now says the Cubs won the series 4-0. There have only been 3 games played.

There were some expansion teams added years ago but I'm not sure why that would impact the playoff scheduling. Is this some kind of bug or am I doing something wrong? I haven't messed with any of the settings.

I did notice something similar a couple seasons back when a team won the 1-game Wild Card and it said wins series 2-0. Only one game was played though.

Any thoughts on this? It kind of kills the league to randomly give teams wins out of the blue in the playoffs.

The only other thing I can think of is I did save the game mid-game. Maybe that screws things up?

Presumably. Mid-game saves might not have been tested all that well.

I had the same thing happen to me. It’s the mid-game save.

I had this happen in my historical league in the middle of a World Series, and it prematurely ended the series. And a mid-game save was the culprit. It happened a few builds ago, though, so I'm not sure if this is still an issue.
