Openers and followers: do followers get the RP Stuff bonus?

For many versions now, most pitchers receive a small bump to their Stuff rating when used in relief, as described in the manual:

"Relief pitchers receive a small bonus to stuff, to reflect the fact that batters get fewer looks at their pitches and have less of a chance to adjust to them. OOTP displays that bonus in the form of increased Stuff ratings."

If I'm using the opener / follower feature, do my followers get the same type of bonus to their Stuff rating?

I'm pretty sure that there isn't a bump so much as that is a representation of what's actually happening, if a pitcher is pitching a small number of pitches, they can throw harder. So it depends on how long your follower is.

No, the bonus is applied based on the role they enter the game with. So followers and traditional starters will pitch in-game according to the SP-stuff criteria, and openers or traditional relievers will pitch with stuff as if they are relievers.

So if you're using openers and followers, openers will have smaller pitch counts (5-6 batters at most) but better stuff, and followers will have larger (SP-level) pitch counts and lower stuff.
