Too many relievers
Hello,
Looking for some advice. Going off of OOTP 19 and previous versions every time I create a new league it seems to fill up with top relievers in the offseason with the majority not being signed. Some of the best relievers in the league are not signed by opening day and it gets progressively worse every season. Is there any fix to this? Ive tried several things in the previous years like increasing payrolls to free up extra money, reducing the contract length so many teams wont get bogged down with huge contracts, increasing revenue, and I even opened up an extra roster spot for relivers to help sign the big names. None of these have worked in previous editions. Hoping you guys can help. Thanks in advance. |

IMO,
it's just welcome to the modern MLB where teams feel they don't need elite relievers to be successful. Look at Kimbrel still not signed. It's madness. |

If the Orioles signed Kimbrel they still would finish in last place.
