GGB: Help Wanted at 1060 W. Addison St.

The Greatest Generation's Chicago Cubs are GM-less.

Who will tend the ivy? Who will help break the 40-year championship drought? Are YOU man (or woman - we're an Equal Opportunity league) enough to turn the Cubs around?

GGB is an alternate history league which expanded MLB by 4 teams following the end of WWII (using the fact that the stars never went off to war while the player pool was swelled by the ranks of the wartime players).

The league is in its 7th (1947) season. We use finances, no arbitration, no coaches/scouts. We sim a month per week with alternating 7/8 day sims on M-T-T-F.

The North Siders have a solid pitching staff and some tantalizing youth. They currently stand at 20-25, 10 games off the pace in GGB's NL West.
