Was wondering if anyone has a link to the outfield position file. I trying to use the link under Tiger Fan's FAQ that he put together for OOTP3, but both links do not seem to work. This is the file that gives correct outfield positions. Thanks again.

Not sure which file you're looking for, but just thought I would mention... I use www.baseball-reference.com to get the outfield positions set correctly (plus it gives me the data I need to double check the range factors and fielding pcts.

The link is about half way down the page, in both Excel and text versions

Thanks AussieMark, I'm starting my league in 1901 and trying to get all my info ready. I'm putting together a minor league team affiliate file for all major league teams since 1901 and a logo history file. Hopefully I'll have them finished soon for all.

Shane is correct, BaseballReference does in fact now have outfield positional splits for older players (even for Ed Delahanty in 1888!) which is awesome.
