ok, i know ive done this b4... two leagues, 3 divisions in each league. how do i set the playoff series at best 4 of 7 for each series? lately it wants to follow the MLB model of 3 of 5 for the first series......... thanks

You must have used an external schedule generator. I don't think you can control the number of playoff games through oopt4 (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong). I'm not sure whether the schedule generator works with ootp4.

You can't change the length of the playoff series, that's hard-wired into the game.
So you're stuck with best-of-5 for the first round (i.e. the Division Series). We can rename them but not change their lengths. That's been one of my requests for OOTP - the ability to set the length of each playoff round as either best-of-5 or best-of-7. However, you can change the way the home fields are assigned by simply editing the schedule, so, for example, if you'd rather have the best-of-5 be a 2-3 rotation instead of a 2-2-1 rotation you can do that. |
