Live Only leagues? (OOTP 20 question)

So for OOTP 20, player ratings will change through the season (from what I understand). This seems like a cool feature, but I wonder how much it will be noticed or even matter, with so many historical players being a better alternative and no risk of degrading.

Is there any plans for this? I suppose people can always create a league with friends list for "Live Only" leagues, but just wondering what the plans are if any.

No, there will be only one PT universe & type of league.

Regarding the live cards, in OOTP 20 these will be rated a bit higher compared to historical cards than in OOTP 19.
