Time to shift focus...

The Super Bowl, and undoubtedly the least interesting one of all time, is done.

For me this traditionally means I can now start gearing up for the new OOTP release. Starting tom'w evening I will spend a bunch of time on the Baseball Reference website looking for an interesting team from the past to take charge of in a historical GM only league. And in a true labor of love I will spend quite a bit of time researching great pennant winners and near pennant winners to create my play 'em all out game. I hand pick two full AL and NL leagues of such teams and take the helm of one of them.

I always start the GM only game in the current OOTP version and import it to the new release, but I wait for the new release to start up the play 'em all out game

I think I can smell the pine tar already....
