VAN MUNGO = VAN POOP!!! Gonna give him 1 maybe 2 more starts but seriously WOW!! Was ecstatic when I pulled this card the other day - that has quickly dissipated!!

He's absolutely amazing, but he can give up a lot of runs some games. He's 0-2 runs most games, then 5 or 6 out of nowhere. Here he is hanging with a bunch of Perfect cards in my Perfect League:

Here's my Game Log and career for him. More than 3 runs only 5 times. 0 runs 5 times. He's been terribly screwed on his record.

His ratings are just slightly worse than perfect Gooden so I expect him to be good

He's #7 in Stuff (1 point behind the entire Top 6) and #29 in Movement. Control is pretty much the least important category, but yes, it can burn him on occasion. Better than letting those Perfect League guys crush the ball all day.

Almost anytime I've made a roster change mid to late season, the player has been terrible. It's almost like the game puts them in as rusty

All this said, can the OP sell him directly to my Diamond team? I've got about 6000 PP, which seems fair for Van Poop.

If I made a decision on my 97 Roy Halladay after two games, he would have been gone! He got pounded. Now, he's 17-3, well on his way to a 20 win season (I didn't get him until Tuesday so didn't have him the first month of the season and his era has slowly dropped to just over 4. Glad I didn't base a decision on him on just 2 starts!

hahahaha YES!! What a great option to have!!

Van Poop won his first game and yes it is a small sample size and I have seen when players come in mid season - some are terrible but Ive also have had some come in late and absolutely kill it - Vladdy Junior for one I can think of.

That is one of the first things I noticed. Especially with 10 FB and only 5 GB. Makes me question the range or defense of the fielders.
