Improve your logo (remove white or colored background)

I know it is a bit off topic but I often see amazing Perfect Team logos but they don't really pop because the background behind the logo (usually white) is still there.
As a result, you have a square block instead of a nice looking logo.

I usually use a program called "paint.net" (it is free).

1. Start the program, click File+Open and load your logo image.

2. On the left side (among the many tools icons), look for the one that looks like a wand (it is called magical wand) and click it.

3. Now you can click on the background section (most often it is white), and then hit the DEL (delete) button. You will see the background get replaced with a checkered background.

4. Save the picture (make sure it is saved as a .png file).

Now you should have the same logo but without the white background section.

Where are the logos stored on the computer and how does one import a custom logo one might create?

I can't speak for all the various installations of Out of the Park.
I usually use a custom installation folder location so the logos end up in the following location: OOTP installation folder \ data \ logos

If you use Steam or Origin, you may be able to find them in your documents folder.
C:\Users\Your User Name\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 19\logos

In regards to changing or loading a different logo...

1. Start Perfect Team and once you see your team, click your team name, then select Customize Team Design.

2. You can use the logos on the left side or use a custom one by
clicking "Advanced Settings" on the right side.

3. If you select Advanced Settings, you see your logos on the left side of the screen. One is the primary team logo and the secondary logo is the one that you can see next to your team or in the League Standings (as a tiny icon).

If you click on "Select", you can browse to your custom image/logo location (if you created your own one or found another logo that you like).

from the Mods forum: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=193197
There is a logo archive download that gives you 1000s of amazing logos. It is hard to find a team name that does not have lots of matching logos.
Credits to all the people that created them and made them available.

In the mod section of OOTP 19 forum Justafan has some easy to use little programs where you can design your own personal logos, caps and jerseys. You will need a program like Joe listed here to remove the background. I use Adobe but I went and looked at the paint.net yesterday and it is easy to use if you are not use to graphics/video editor programs. Great advice Joe!

Is there a way to pull a logo from a saved game?

I made a logo a few laptops ago and was able to save my fictional league to my external harddrive but I don't have the logo in my files anymore. And I dont want to have to remake it.

Thanks

No. Logos are saved in the logo folder of the main OOTP installation and not in the saved game folders. This is unlike uniforms and caps which are saved in the saved game folders. You'll have to ask the developers why this is.
