The “killer whale” perfect league!
Hey big fellas are you tired of others knocking your team cause you got perfects out the ying yang and don’t mind throwing dollars at the greatest baseball developer of ALL TIME! Then let’s join this league see who the baddest killer whale is. I’m just a sperm whale. 7 playoffs and no ring!
Teams I’d love to see in this league Kentucky “ I hate your guts” crowns The two headed doctrine team. Kinda hate them too but it’s hard to not like this father son team Orcin - cause he talks good smack Zorro - cause he’s a bonafide whale killer Fargo sun dogs - best record of all time Kallisti something - good team hate them too Methane silver Sox - hate them too. Just soooooo good There are many others just can’t think or channel the hate in my heart for the rest of y’all. Anyone else that was in that killer league last season And any other whalers or wannabe whalers or whale hunters or whale slayers. You have to have at least 10 perfects or have killed many whales to be in this league! Cmon lets do this. Don’t be scared! |

If I had such a team, I'd definitely be interested. I remember some of those teams (including yours) and share in your "hatred" for them. I wish you success in getting some of them to join the same league. It seems like it would be fun... well, for a masochist at least.

I like the camaraderie but I have zero perfects so I don't qualify. Thanks for the invite though!

I don't have the perfects to qualify, but I did just beat you 24-6 so let me see if I can kill a whale in the playoffs first.

Wow, You do have guts my friend. First let me say I am honored to think that you would think that I am one of the best players in the PT universe. What you are trying to do (I think) is get the best players together and go head to head to see who is truly the best of the best. Let me try and explain why I would not fit. I give it my all. When I say my all I mean my all. Whatever it takes I drain myself to try and be a contender. I dream of matchups or platooning while I sleep. I am retired so I look at every series I play and try and put up a lineup I think would benefit me in that series. In other words I wear my self out. And that is against just the average player we run into.I have made the playoffs every season not because I am good, But because I work at it. Whatever it takes for that particular season I do. What ever it takes . If it is sitting up all night trying to figure out a lineup that will beat my opponents or watch the Auction block and buy someone to help me win that week I do it. I have a advantage because I do not have to work. This is my work. So I guess what I am saying is if we have a league where there is no break ,Where every match up is a killer I would die. I would literally fall from being exhausted. There are some very good teams out there and I am not good enough to play good teams every series without paying a price. My wife says I have a problem. I tell her “Hey it’s fun” but to much fun would literally kill me. I love this mode but sometimes day in and day out it is a bit much. Thank you for asking my friend, But I am truly not good enough for what you want.,.😁

You know it's a blowout when Vladimir Guerrero takes the mound and gives up 6 runs. I don't regularly score this much, just a weird coincidence that it happened right before I saw this thread. I'm pretty sure I scored higher against a team doing some nonsense to get relegated, but this was my legit high.

man, 24-6 over his team is INCREDIBLE, but in the current perfect league we are in, we've scored over 20 runs multiple times, the competition just isn't the same. That one league we were all in ruined me. I can't get too hyped to beat up on run of the mill perfect teams with 8 MLB live players in the lineup and 3 MLB live pitchers with 3-6 perfects that aren't actually any good. It's fun but it's too easy.
EDIT: Also that post about the 24-6 game is pure gold. |

That's true! And we did get dominated by Jackie Robinson on the mound too! As far as regular season games go this was probably my favorite to beat a team of your caliber like that. I was hoping to split the series to take the season series, but we came up short.

I have been playing all this time with only 2 perfects, Betts and Trout. So, I am too weak by your standards and too strong with 70 pts. for Orcin's league
So I will try to terrorize the weak in the random process and meet more true whales like y'all as I go. At any rate, y'all have fun. That's what its all about.
