BS auction games!
This has happened a few times with different players to me. I put a bid on Tom Seaver, 71, starting bid with 11 +hours to go for 59,500 and no buy now amount. I check in later, my bid is refunded. Seaver is now 70K and 75K to buy now. Yes, you can withdraw the bid anytime, but I don't think it's that ethical and don't appreciate the way the BS game playing by same people to test the interest than try for a higher price.
The person who bid for a player can not withdraw the bid they have made. So the same rule should be applied to the person who put the player up in the first place with the price they set. This change should be made to curve this type of manipulation! Or give a bidder the right to take his bid back to make things even. Yes, this would cause chaos, which is my point! Developers, make it fair!

I didn't think you could cancel an auction once there was a bid. It's grayed out when I am selling a card and someone has bid.

It's gone! There was 11 hours to go and there is only one Seaver card left with 4 hours and change. There was no buy now button on the one I bid on. I never tried to withdraw a card after I put one up so I can't respond to what you are saying. I figured the person cancelled the bid since there is no Seaver card other than one I stated above.
If you are right, something happened to the card?

Did you maybe have the "Cards I can afford" box clicked? I had that happen. The card seemed to disappear but I later realized the bidding had gone beyond the money I had and I had that filter on so I couldn't see it. edit: Love the Beatles. |

I had the points and did not check that box, can afford. I am just saying, the bid was in, time was on the clock and the card was no longer there. As a matter of fact, the same card, Seaver, keeps changing prices and times! This time there are no bids! After asking for 70K and no offers. Now it's down to 65K. The time keeps changing. To me it's the same card! I won't bid on it after getting burned. Or I should to prove my point. I think I will!

I don't know what to say. If you bid I thought the auction could not be cancelled. |

Cards cannot be withdrawn from auction after there is a bid on it.

You can't withdraw when there is a bid on it.
-Check your auction bid history to see the actual card you bid on -Check your transaction history to see what exactly happened with the money If you check through there, usually that will let you know what actually happened to the player in question. |
