I bought a player from the auction house to put into my team for the playoffs, which have already started.
So I put the player I was replacing up for auction, which was allowed, and tried moving the player I bought onto my active roster, but that was not allowed as it is the middle of a playoff series.
Basically, there should have been some sort of warning that I would be unable to replace my player during the playoff series, so now I don't have a 3B.
It doesn't make sense that I can list someone from by active roster for auction during the playoffs but cannot replace him if I do as well

It really surprises me that they have not addressed this yet. I experienced this once in Beta and learned that lesson then but out of Beta that is a hard lesson for you to learn now. It should NOT allow you to relegate someone to Reserve it if isn't going to allow you to replace that player! I am on board with not being able to make those roster moves during playoffs but PT shouldn't allow relegating anyone to Reserve for that reason.

Is that too much to ask?

This is not possible in the game where you can buy new players and add them to your playoff roster, right???

Happened to me in the first week or two as well. Was kind of annoyed, but I just chalked it up as a lesson learned.

Playoffs are such a crapshoot anyways, one player isn't going to make or break it most likely.

Before any series begins you can. I often used rewards to update my playoff roster before they began and between series.

You cannot do this in the middle of a series.
