PC assistance

I have a laptop that only has OOTP19 on it and I have music and a book on tape that's it. What I am looking to do is play the music or the book on tape (MP3) while playing the game as I play it in mute mode. However when I do this the game severely slows down. Sometimes would just shut down the program entirely. This happens on every laptop I have ever owned and version of game. Thanks for any assistance. I did think it was a game memory leak but not sure on that either as that occurs on every laptop.

should note that the solo league I have is from OOTP12 when I finally figured out how to move the game forward. I did wonder if it is due to huge file now?? However I do know others have bigger leagues than I do yet they do fine.

just tried a new league and same issue … Not sure what I am missing

On my PC, OOTP 19 uses 1.3 gig, but almost no CPU or GPU, so I if I had to look it might be at memory. What % usage are you when OOTP is running slow? I guess I oughta check my laptop and see how that looks.

laptop make and model

what program are you using to play the mp3?

vlc? what version of windows?
